Pack & Paddle

Youth completing 7th–9th Grades

Pack & Paddlers will backpack to beautiful Backbone State park and canoe the scenic Turkey River. There will be time to enjoy the sights, climb on natural rock faces, and sit around a fire with friends and awesome counselors. Enjoy wildlife, hearty meals, chats about faith and life, outdoor challenges, and a memorable Christian community.

Confirmation Camp

Youth completing 6th-9th Grades

Ramp up your confirmation classes in a powerful way! Youth and leaders will make connections with their home church through our High Ropes Course, meaningful campfires, and an overnight canoe trip. Practice faith and leadership skills, build trust, and experience God’s grace that you’ve been learning about in this memorable week!

Cost: $479 (Early Discounts: First $439, Second $459)

Rock & Raft

Youth completing 9th-12th Grades

Two big adventures in one week! Take on the challenges of rafting the Wolf River in Northern Wisconsin and rock climbing at one of the best locations in the Midwest—Devil’s Lake State Park. Discover how to trust in God, yourself and others as you experience these new challenges!

Houseboating

Youth completing 9th-12th Grades

Cruise up and down the mighty Mississippi River on a houseboat. Relax with friends, new and old, as you navigate the remote islands, wide sandy beaches, and beautiful landmarks along the river. Anchor the boat somewhere new each night and enjoy swimming, games, faith conversations, and worshipful campfires on the beach.

“Uplifted”

Youth completing 9th-12th Grades

Get off the ground and spend a week in a mobile hammock village. You’ll experience (or re-experience) many traditions of other programs on camp like night games, a pioneer hoe-down, and s’mores. “Hang out” at Ewalu’s many landmarks and enjoy spontaneous camp adventures while you build confidence, explore your faith, and develop your unique gifts as a leader. Bring you hammock from home or purchase an Ewalu one when you arrive.

Boundary Waters

Youth completing 10th–12th Grades

Voyage by canoe through the serene wilderness of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area to the edge of Canada. You’ll travel through remote lakes and forests, live in simplicity, and take in the beauty of the wilderness. Explore the joys of life and faith along with mind-blowing sunsets, incredible wildlife, and inspiring night skies. Cane experience and swimming skills are required.

Leadership Training (LT)

Youth completing 10th–12th Grades

As a leadership Training participant (LT), you’ll learn effective leadership skills to practice at your school, church, community, home, or even as a future-counselor! During this powerful four-week experience, you’ll get a behind the scenes look at camping ministry while growing in faith, boosting self-confidence, and living in a Christian community. Serve as a role model for younger campers, and mature your faith and understanding with an excellent and supportive group of peers.

Small stipend provided. Choose one four-week session:

These programs are for youth completing grade 9-12 For youth completing grades 1-5 or 6-9, click the “Elementary” or “Middle School” pages on the menu above.

To reserve your spot, we must receive your registration and $100 deposit.

A sibling discount of $15 is given for each additional camper from the same family. To receive the Early Discount prices listed, registration forms must be received or postmarked by the First Early Discount Deadline of March 2nd, 2020. Or, by the Second Early Discount Deadline of April 20th, 2020. Additional financial assistance is available; contact Ewalu for more information.
