Pack & Paddle

Youth completing 7th–9th Grades

Canoeing, backpacking, rock climbing and tent camping… As a Pack and Paddler, you get the all-around experience in the great outdoors! You and your friends will enjoy three days of hiking and rock climbing in Backbone State Park. Then gear up to canoe and camp along the Turkey River. Enjoy awesome counselors, wildlife, power-packed Bible studies, outdoor challenges, and forming a memorable new group of friends.

Confirmation Camp

Youth completing 6th-9th Grades

Enhance your Confirmation classes in a powerful way! Youth and adult leaders will love these new adventures together including epic games, meaningful campfires and worships, our High Ropes Challenge Course, a camping-canoeing trip on the Turkey River, and active Bible studies led by highly devoted, fun-loving counselors. Grow in faith while adventuring with new friends in the great outdoors. You’ll experience the grace you’ve been learning about in new ways, together in this action-packed week of Christian community.

Rock & Raft

Youth completing 9th-12th Grades

Begin your epic adventure as you set up camp in the vast Nicolet National Forest. Prepare for whitewater rafting on the Wolf River… Then gear up for rock climbing and incredible overlooks at Devil’s Lake State Park! Ewalu will provide all your equipment and a fun, top-notch staff team. Remember your camera – your friends back home will regret settling for a week of ball camp when you post your photos from this high adventure!

Note: This trip leaves early Sunday morning.

Houseboating

Youth completing 9th-12th Grades

Get ready for a voyage on a 50-foot houseboat! You’ll explore remote islands, sandy beaches and riverside towns along the biggest river in North America. Beach your houseboat for the night and join your houseboat crew for swimming, fishing, games and amazing conversations about life and faith. Soak up an awesome week on the Mississippi River!

Islanders

Youth completing 9th–12th Grades

Newly redesigned for 2017, Islanders features new landmarks, activities, and places to explore on your road trip to and from the island! Travel north to see the best of Wisconsin’s natural parks. Ride a ferry across Lake Michigan to Door County’s beautiful Rock Island State Park. Play, swim and relax on nearly 5,000 feet of beaches. Enjoy trails, high overlooks, natural landmarks, and great talks about life and faith. New for this year are additional tourism sites, cool landmarks to explore, and overnight camping on the road trip there and back! This will be a week to remember with friends in Christian community.

Boundary Waters

Youth completing 10th–12th Grades

An extreme, yet serene, true wilderness adventure… Voyage through the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness to the Canadian border. Explore remote lakes and campsites living in the simplicity and beauty of the unspoiled wilderness. You’ll venture through quiet, clean lakes and encounter mind-blowing sunsets, incredible wildlife, and inspiring night skies together with your team, as we explore the joys of faith and life together in one of the entire world’s most beautiful places. Canoeing experience and swimming skills are a must.

Leadership Training (LT)

Youth completing 10th–12th Grades

As a Leadership Training participant (LT), you’ll practice effective leadership skills for your school, church, community, and home, through this powerful four-week immersion program. Explore all aspects of camping ministry while growing in faith, boosting self-confidence and living in Christian community. Serve as a positive role model for younger campers, practice your leadership for life and ministry, and mature in your understanding with an excellent and supportive peer group.

Small stipend provided. Choose one four-week session:

Registration Information

The above programs are for youth completing 9th through 12th Grade unless otherwise noted. For kids & youth completing grades 1-6 or 7-9, click the “Elementary” or “Middle School” pages in the menu system.

We must receive your registration and $100 deposit to reserve your spot. Additional sibling discount of $15 is given for each additional camper from the same family. To receive the early bird discount price listed, registration forms must be received or postmarked by February 28th.  Our second deadline for a $20 discount is April 17th. Financial assistance is available; contact Ewalu for more information.
