Your gift to Ewalu’s General Fund has an immediate impact on campers! The General Fund supports so many things at camp, including utilities, property maintenance, summer staff salaries, programming costs, food, equipment, and much more. We use these funds to keep the “everyday” things going at camp, taking care to use your gifts in the most efficient way we can so that God’s ministry can reach as many people as possible through Ewalu.

Your gift to Ewalu’s Campership Fund helps make camp more affordable for ALL kids by subsidizing the true cost of a week at Ewalu, which is nearly $800. Thanks to donations to our Campership Fund, we can cut that cost by 1/3 for ALL campers! For some families, that reduced cost is still an obstacle, and we can use the Campership Fund to lower the out-of-pocket cost even more and even bring some campers to Ewalu free of charge if the need is great. Your donations allow us to keep our promise: No child is ever turned away at Ewalu due to financial need.

One important piece of the “Cedar at 60” project is NOW IN PROGRESS – the Board of Directors has approved building the solar array! Trees have been cleared and the ground is being prepared behind Hickory Lodge for the new array, which will power Hickory and the renewed Cedar Lodge. We will also have net-metering, which means payback for extra power generated.
Want to help us by buying your “own” solar panel?? Contribute $600 to the campaign and designate it for the solar array. There will be 60 solar panels, and we’re looking for folks to “adopt” each of them. You will be assigned your “own” panel and be able to monitor its production through a special app. Just pledge/donate $600 to the campaign online using the button above (choose ‘Cedar at 60 – Sponsor a Solar Panel’) or send in your pledge card and write “Solar Panel.”
