Thank you for providing feedback over the summer by attending a visioning event or submitting a survey. We are grateful for your commitment to Camp EWALU. The Visioning Task Force and Board of Directors have been exploring mission opportunities through a visioning process over the last several months.
Board member and Visioning Team member, Pastor Trish Decker summed up the process by saying, “It was a Spirit-led process. The Visioning Team has been faithful to the work and is a group that balances love for Ewalu and what It is as well as hope for what It can be. It was affirming that the same vision recommendations kept popping up in different points along the process. The Board retreat conversations, the Visioning Team and the surveys all had common hopes for EWALU that we could boil down to a direction to work toward.”
The board is exploring three areas of focus that will strengthen EWALU’s ministry including marketing, hospitality, and programming as well as evaluating future capital campaign needs. We welcome your prayers as this exciting process continues!
