Barred Owl, a beautiful new building, is a retreat center in itself. There are 2 sleeping rooms which each house 12 in spacious dormitory style. Next to each sleeping room are bathroom and shower facilities. The main area of the lodge serves as an open meeting room and dining area. There is a full kitchen off to one side of the meeting area that is stocked with dishes and cookware.
A covered porch runs along the front side of the building with a picnic table in front of each bedroom. There’s a campfire conveniently nearby; it was built specifically for guests occupying this lodge. This building has radiant in-floor heat which makes it feel cozy even in the winter.
