Ewalu Camp & Retreat Center will hold its 2026 Annual Meeting, covering the year 2025, at the Creation Center Chapel (directions below).
Every ELCA member congregation in the Southeastern Iowa and Northeastern Iowa synods may have up to two voting delegates at the meeting (there will be a sign-in sheet for delegates); additional attendees are welcome. Come see the impact of the ministry at Ewalu!
The Creation Center is located at Ewalu’s main site, 3 miles west of Strawberry Point. The address is: 37776 Alpha Ave., Strawberry Point, IA 52076. Turn south from Iowa Highway 3 onto Alpha Avenue, which is a gravel road. Take Alpha Avenue a little over a mile to the main entrance of camp, and take the left fork going into camp. You’ll pass some buildings, including the swimming pool; keep driving, taking a bend in the road past Hickory Lodge, and then you’ll be in our main parking lot. The Creation Center (with green metal roof) is on the edge of the parking lot.

A printed copy will be mailed in early March to every ELCA member church in the Northeastern Iowa and Southeastern Iowa synods. We will have more printed copies available at the Annual Meeting on March 21.
